A. Specialized Medical Interventions
More than 250 surgical and interventional procedures, including:

Cardiovascular Medicine

  • 85 cardiac catheterizations and stent interventions

  • Complex PCI procedures, diagnostics, and emergency interventions

General Surgery:

  • Laparoscopic colon resections for tumors, fistulas, and functional disorders.

  • Hands-on training courses and simulation-based training in laparoscopic surgery.

Vascular Surgery

  • Carotid eversion endarterectomy

  • Iliac stenting

  • Endostent placement for aortic coarctation

Maxillofacial Surgery (MKG)

  • 3 upper-jaw reconstructions after war injuries

  • Neck dissection for oral melanoma

ENT Surgery

12 complex procedures, including laryngectomy

Neurosurgery

Complex spinal procedures, including long-segment spinal stabilization and treatment of cervical spinal canal stenosis

Ophthalmology

87 surgeries (52 cataract, 35 additional eye procedures)

Orthopedics

14 joint replacement surgeries (knee and hip TEPs)

Cardiac Surgery

  • Complex mitral valve replacement with tricuspid valve reconstruction in the setting of severely impaired left and right ventricular function.

  • Complex cardiovascular revascularizations. A total of 5 open-heart surgeries were performed using the heart–lung machine.

Gastroenterology

  • Pseudocyst drainage

  • Treatment of therapy-resistant esophageal strictures

 
B. Workshops and Training
  • Specialized lectures and workshops in:

- Cardiac surgery

- Vascular surgery

- Intensive care medicine

- Endoscopy

- Maxillofacial surgery

  • Hands-on clinical training in the OR, ICU, and endoscopy units
  • Continued exchange programs with German hospitals
 
C. Humanitarian Support
  • Completely free treatment for low-income patients

  • Coordination of transportation, accommodation, and logistical support with local partners
